ellie has really been exploring her voice lately. mostly the volume of her voice, but her voice nonetheless. this results in a number of experiences from loud, headache-inducing yelling to cute little conversations like the one you see here.
i can’t wait until these include actual words. the only downside will be that we won’t ever be able to shut her up after it starts!

as she gets older, it seems the milestones are getting farther and farther apart, so we’ve tried to be good about video. i say video and not just images because a lot of what’s happening now involves a level of vocalization that still images will never be able to capture.
with that, we have the latest in e-tv, better known as, “hey mommy, we need to talk.”
the funny thing about this video is that early on when mommy asks “what does that mean?,” ellie clearly says she doesn’t know. is she speaking in full sentences already? well, probably not, but it’s fun to use our imaginations. we can’t help but wonder what the hell she’s talking about because, clearly, she is trying to say something.
as i always tell her, we need a baby translator to decipher this stuff. anyone know of a good one? baby whisperer?
