just like 2006 was a good year for wine (LOL, flo!), 2010 is going to be a GREAT year for weddings. we’re attending FOUR in a stretch of six months, and ellie is going to be the flower girl in two of them :) we’re so excited!

eric and tessa are our friends from texas (which you may remember from a previous post) and they’re two of the friendliest, most wonderful people you’ll ever meet. i’m sure their ceremony will be a tear-jerker because they’re awesome like that, and the reception is sure to be one amazing party because they’re awesome like THAT, too :) we’re crossing our fingers that ellie will be walking by then, as it will be her flower girl debut!

matt and alyssa are our very favorite game night couple. they think they’re the best, we think we’re the best and for some reason we all get along famously :) alyssa formally asked me and ellie to be in the wedding last weekend with a plate of chocolate chip cookies, one shaped like a bridesmaid’s dress and the other shaped like a wedding cake. it was so cute, i cried :) the ceremony is at saint mary’s, alyssa’s dream come true. we love them so much and can’t wait to see them walk down the aisle.

crystal is ryan’s uncle bob’s wife margie’s daughter. good luck wrapping your head around that one ;) crystal and anthony are one of the cutest couples in the whole wide world. they’re always smiling when they’re together, and you can see the love in their eyes when they talk to each other. what a wonderful holiday weekend it’s going to be! i can’t think of a better way to spend a warm summer saturday than watching these two exchange their vows <3

flo and i became fast friends during our college years. not only did we bond over journalism, but we both partied hard and looked damn good doing it ;) by the time brian asked her to marry him this summer, it seemed like it had taken FOREVER! needless to say, i was thrilled to hear the news. their wedding is planned for early autumn in st. helena, which is simply perfect for them based on their love of good wine alone :) i’m certain it’s going to be just beautiful.

all my children, the most ridiculous show on television that i find myself incapable of turning away from when it’s on. damn you, susan lucci!

2. you’re out to eat. what kind of dressing does she get on her salad?
thousand island. vomit.

3. what’s one food she doesn’t like?
a lot of things: mushrooms, anything fishy, cheese on her sandwiches and burgers (although she likes it by itself!).

4. you go out to eat and have a drink. what does she order?
depends on her mood. usually it’s a rum and coke, but it can be wine and a beer if she’s drunk enough and there isn’t anything else. she likes her booze.

5. where did she go to high school?
holy names high school.

6. what size shoe does she wear?
it depends on the shoe! 6 – 6.5.

8. what is her favorite type of sandwich?
if we’re at subway, she’ll have a tuna sandwich, but if we’re at togo’s, make it a #8 – turkey and roast beef, hold the cheese!

9. what would she eat every day if she could?
juice. there isn’t one food i think she’d have every day, but juice … man. give her a lifetime supply of cran-raspberry and she’d be set.

10. what is her favorite cereal?
she, too, likes anything with sugar. fruit loops come to mind. not a big banana girl unless it’s with her cheerios.

11. what would she never wear?
two words: overall shorts.

12. what is her favorite sports team?
she’s from oakland and likes baseball. ;)

she’s blue-blooded and likes the environment.

14. who is her best friend?
um, me? better be!

burp really loud all.the.time.

kind of a mutt, but mostly english and irish.

she’ll eat whatever, but would prefer a yellow cake.
