yesterday, to my great surprise, ellie put her hands in mine and started to walk. i helped her balance as she moved from her jumper to the table, from the table to the couch, from the couch to the door, down the hall and back again. now all she wants to DO is walk, and if she could do it without my help, she certainly would.
gone are the days when i could plop her down on a blanket and leave her with her toys while i made a quick trip to the kitchen or the bathroom. she’s constantly on the move, mobile in every sense of the word, and there’s no stopping her :)
Oh my GOSH how crazy is that? She looks so confident while walking, like it’s the most natural thing in the world. I am so proud of her and can’t wait until she decides to start trying it on her own!
