BEHOLD! this weekend … ellie met santa claus. he just so happened to be making a stop in a shopping mall not far from where we live – imagine that! she was all smiles and laughter while we waited in line for our turn, but once she was in the hot seat, all she gave us were stares. case in point:

after about 30 seconds with santa, we headed to lunch at the elephant bar. ellie behaved wonderfully at the restaurant and it was an all-around lovely afternoon, just the three of us.
